ID: 3/4" 4 3/16" OD x 2 9/32" HT
Teeth: 10
Chain Number: 40/41 chain
High performance
Thermodynamic design absorbs heat without damaging springs
Includes retaining ring
Origin: U.S. Made
Installation:
Verify the size of the engine crankshaft. All clutches require a 3/4" diameter shaft.
Oil the clutch bushing using lightweight oil.
Slide the clutch on the engine crankshaft.
Install a bolt and washer on the end of the engine crankshaft. Use a washer that measures at least 1 1/16" inches on the outside diameter. The set screw is used in addition to the bolt and washer to retain the hub on the crankshaft.
BOTH MUST BE USED FOR PROPER CLUTCH RETENTION.
Make sure that the bronze bushing has a minimum of 1/32 inch of movement on the crankshaft of the engine.
Verify proper alignment of the sprocket and install the chain according to your owner's manual. Over-tightening the chain will cause premature bushing wear. Having the chain too slack will cause premature sprocket wear.
Install the guards. WARNING: Do not operate the engine without having all of the guards properly installed.
Maintenance & Inspection
Oil the clutch bushing every 4 hours of use. Try to get the oil in-between the housing and the bushing. Removal of the bushing from the sprocket is the best way to ensure proper lubrication.
Inspect the chain tension, chain condition, and sprocket alignment.
Inspect the clutch for damaged, missing, or loose parts.
